PETALING JAYA, Sept 7 — Senior citizens have been urged to obtain the influenza (flu) vaccine to prevent diseases and subsequently reduce the risks of hospitalisation and death.

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 28 — The Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) has advised medical practitioners in the country to temporarily stop the use of two influenza vaccines, namely SKYCellflu Quadrivalent and Vaxigrip Tetra following reports of death cases linked to the two products in South Korea.

SEOUL, Oct 26 — South Korea urged citizens to get vaccinated against influenza and reduce the chances of an outbreak that coincides with the battle on the coronavirus, as it kicked off free inoculations for the last eligible group.

SINGAPORE, Oct 26 — Singapore has temporarily halted the use of two influenza vaccines as a precaution after some people who received them in South Korea died, becoming among the first countries to publicly announce a halt of the vaccines' usage.
